TD1540 DC Shunt Verification Device

TD1540 is a set of instrument specially used for calibrating DC shunt, which is composed of DC standard large current source and precision DC voltmeter. 1. Summary

TD1540 is a set of instruments dedicated to calibrating DC shunts. It consists of a DC standard high current source and a precision DC voltmeter. It has the characteristics of wide measurement range, high precision, high stability, and good safety performance.

It can be used in various levels of measurement and power departments to calibrate various DC shunts for measurement, and it is also suitable for manufacturers to conduct quality inspections on products to promote the improvement of quality and corporate competitiveness.

• Available in Class 0.02 and Class 0.05

• DC standard large current source: 0.5 A ~ 600 A

• Precision DC voltage measurement: 100 μV ~ 11 V

• Resistance measurement range: 200 nΩ ~ 6 Ω

• Multiple value output adjustment methods

• Large-size LCD touch screen, combined with digital key operation

• Using constant current source mode measurement, DC current output accuracy is high

• Measure the resistance value and basic error of the shunt, and draw R (I) and R (t) curves

• The device has good protection and high reliability

3. Application

☆ Calibration of DC High Current Equipment

• The device has a built-in DC current standard source with an output range of 0.5 A to 600 A. The current accuracy of the Class 0.02 device reaches Class 0.01, which is suitable for calibrating DC high current meters of Class 0.05 and below.

• The device can provide 600 A of high current for the primary side of current conversion devices (such as mutual inductors, I/I conversion, I/V conversion, etc.).


☆ Verifying DC Shunts

• DC high current standard source: maximum output up to 600 A, can be used as the primary current input of DC shunt.

• Precision DC voltmeter: supports voltage input range of 100 μV~11 V, can measure the secondary output voltage of the shunt.

• Special low thermal potential wire and terminal: can effectively reduce the measurement uncertainty introduced by contact potential and thermal potential.

• DC shunt verification and testing: can measure the resistance value and basic error of the shunt, draw R(I) and R(t) curves, and provide effective testing means for analyzing key parameters such as power coefficient and thermal potential influence of the shunt.

• Especially when setting current, users can simply input the desired current value (as shown in Figure b), ensuring easy operation.

• Supports fully or semi-automated calibration of devices under test, including data recording, analysis, management, and exporting customized template reports. *(Fully automated calibration requires the devices under test to support communication and provide open protocols.)*

• Software functions can be customized per customer requirements, with support for adding new testing standards through future upgrades.
