1. Summary
TK4800 is a set of devices dedicated to calibrating portable tester for DC EV chargers and portable tester for AC EV chargers. The device is designed based on the dynamic characteristics of new energy vehicle charging. It supports two modes: steady-state electric energy measurement (for constant load) and dynamic electric energy measurement (for fluctuating loads).
Steady-state electric energy measurement mode tests the calibrator by pulse method or accumulated electric energy method under constant voltage and current.
Dynamic electric energy measurement mode is specially used to simulate the dynamic process of electric vehicle charging. It can output dynamic waveforms such as adjustable trapezoidal waves and staircase waves to test the accuracy of the calibrator's accumulated electric energy under dynamic waveforms. It can more realistically reflect the actual working scenario of the calibrator.
The device comes with a standard AC and DC charging interface, and with automatic test software, it can automatically complete the calibration of the EV charger in two modes: steady-state and dynamic.

• Dynamic waveform output and energy measurement can be performed in the mode of constant voltage, constant current or simultaneous changes of voltage and current.
3. Features
• High accuracy measurement: The steady-state electric energy measurement accuracy of the device reaches class 0.01, and the dynamic electric energy measurement accuracy reaches class 0.02.
• Wide range: DC output 100 V ~ 1150 V, 0.1 A ~ 300 A, AC output 220 V ± 20%, 10 mA ~ 80 A.
• Ms level power refresh: The DC power accumulation register update rate reaches 10ms/time, and the AC power accumulation register update rate reaches 20ms/time, improving the measurement accuracy of accumulated power under dynamic waveforms.
• Tip measurement: The electric energy measurement point of the device is set at the charging gun head (side of the pile), and the wire resistance of the charging gun wire is compensated to ensure that it matches the calibrator and charger measurement point.
• Special calibration charging gun cables for calibrator: It is equipped with a China national standard DC charging gun cable and a China national standard AC charging gun cable, which can be directly connected to the portable testers for AC and DC chargers for calibration without the extra connections.
• Supports simultaneous calibration of portable tester for DC EV charger and portable tester for AC EV charger to improve efficiency.
• Current channel switching: The DC current channel of the device supports switching between the charging head DC+ and the charging head DC-, which can be used to calibrate the charger tester with the current sampling located at DC+ and the charger tester with the current sampling located at DC- respectively.
• Equipped with conventional standard meter terminals, it can also perform calibration work on conventional AC and DC standard energy meters.
• Equipped with a large LCD touch screen, which can be used to observe or control output.
• Equipped with automatic test software for portable tester for AC DC EV chargers.
