TUNKIA’s Efforts in Assisting Electric Vehicle Development and Environment Protection

In recent years, due to the higher pursuit of environmental protection, technology and energy security, a wave of new energy electric vehicles has set off around the world. The realization of pure electric driving is inseparable from the three power systems of electric vehicles, namely: battery, motor, and electronic control. At the same time, with the booming development of electric vehicles, the construction of electric vehicle charging piles has also become a must.

Charging Facilities


TUNKIA has developed a comprehensive detection solution for charging piles. The solution covers full-performance testing, vehicle-mounted mobile testing, on-site testing, and remote testing based on digital metering, etc. It can realize multiple off-board chargers with power of 180 kW and below and 16 A, 32 A, and 63 A AC charging piles scene detection.

Rechargeable Batteries


The battery that provides power largely determines how far the car can run, and also greatly affects the driving safety of electric vehicles. The Electrical properties and reliability of the power battery are crucial.

Charge and discharge testing is the main method of battery electrical performance testing. By charging and discharging the battery, the voltage, current, capacity, cycle life and other parameters of the battery are detected, and the maintenance and repair of the battery are realized.

TUNKIA’s TH0530 High-Precision AC and DC Ammeter has wide measurement limit and high accuracy. The accuracy level can reach class 0.005. It can be used with a battery charge and discharge tester to complete the detection of power batteries.


Motor Drive


    The motor, equivalent to the engine of a traditional car, is mainly composed of a stator core, stator windings, rotor and other accessories. TUNKIA’s TS2500 Electrical Steel Core Magnetic Measurement Device is an intelligent testing system dedicated to rapid detection of stator magnetic properties; the is dedicated to fully automatic measurement of magnetic field distribution on the surface of motor rotors. The electrical steel and other magnetic materials used in motor production affect the performance of the motor from the material level. For this, TUNKIA has a complete set of electrical steel testing products and magnetic material measurement devices.


Electric Control System and Sensors


    The electronic control system of electric vehicles contains the use of a large number of electrical sensors. In terms of sensor detection, TUNKIA has now reached a maximum current of 10 kA and DC to 1 MHz detection capabilities. In addition to conventional error and linearity detection items, it also supports in-depth tests such as bandwidth, response time, power consumption, and temperature drift, providing effective support for electric vehicle sensor detection.
