1. Summary
TD1545 is a multi-functional instrument dedicated to the verification and calibration of DC electrical meter. It consists of DC voltage standard source, DC current standard source, DC small signal voltage source, DC standard virtual power source etc. It can verify not only conventional DC electrical measuring instruments, such as DC voltmeter/ammeter/power meter, but also DC shunt, direct and indirect connected DC energy meters.

3. Applications
☆ Calibration of DC electrical measuring instruments |

• Calibration of DC voltmeter and ammeter: the device has a built-in DC voltage standard source with an output range of 10 mV ~ 1550 V and a DC current standard source with an output range of 1 mA ~ 600 A. The voltage and current accuracy of the 0.02 level device reaches 0.01 level, which is applicable to the calibration of DC voltmeter or ammeter of 0.05 level and below. • Calibration of DC power meter: a virtual power standard source composed of independent DC voltage and current output. The accuracy of a 0.02 level device reaches 0.02 level, which is applicable to the calibration of DC power meters of 0.1 level and below. • Calibration of DC transmitter (option): The secondary DC signal measurement function of the optional transmitter supports the maximum DC 12 V or 24 mA signal input. With DC voltage, current and power standard sources, the proportional error of the transmitter can be detected. |

• Application scenario 1: The maximum DC voltage output is 1550 V, meeting the requirements of 1.15 Un voltage test of 1 kV electrical energy meter; The maximum DC current output is 600 A, meeting the requirements of 1.2 In current test of 100 A electrical energy meter. With the power pulse measurement function, the test of direct connected DC watt hour meters for measuring DC electrical energy can be completed. • Application scenario 2: The instrument has 10 μV~4.4 V four wire small signal voltage source, with 1550 V DC voltage source and electric energy pulse measurement function, can carry out the verification of indirect access DC electric energy meters. • Application scenario 3: The maximum output of DC current is up to 600 A, which can be used as the primary current input of the DC shunt. With 1550 V DC voltage source and power pulse measurement function, the overall verification of the DC shunt + indirect connected meters for measuring DC electric energy can be achieved. |

• DC high current standard source: the maximum output is 600 A, which can be used as the primary current input of the DC shunt. • DC small signal voltmeter: support voltage input range is 10 μV~4.4 V, which can measure the secondary output voltage of the DC shunt. • Special low thermal potential wire and terminal block: it can reduce the measurement uncertainty introduced by contact potential and thermoelectric potential. • Verification and test of DC shunt (option): it can measure the resistance value and basic error of the shunt, and draw R (I) and R (t) curve. |

• The instrument has a "fixed-point output" mode. The required output value can be directly set by pressing the number keys on the console or clicking the touch screen, and the instrument will automatically switch to the optimal range output. • In particular, when setting the power, input the voltage value and current value directly (as shown in b above). |

• The key operation area is equipped with a "rotary encoder", which can increase or decrease the value output by rotating clockwise or counterclockwise. |
